Yellow Candy Hogfish (Bodianus bimaculatus) — Vibrant & Reef-Safe

The Yellow Candy Hogfish is a stunning and relatively rare reef fish, featuring a vivid yellow body with a distinctive red-pink stripe running along its side. A member of the wrasse family, the Yellow Candy Hogfish is active, hardy, and genuinely reef-safe — making it a prized addition to any reef aquarium.

Tank Compatibility

Hogfish are protogynous hermaphrodites — they begin life as females and can transition to males. The Yellow Candy Hogfish is one of the smaller Bodianus species, making it suitable for a wider range of reef aquarium sizes.
