Hi, I’m Jonathan, the General Manager of Aquamarine Aquaristic and the main point of contact for most of our customers.
For over 10 years, I’ve been deeply involved in the marine aquarium hobby — not just as a retailer, but as an active hobbyist, researcher, and contributor within the reefing community. My journey has been built on hands-on experience with reef systems of all levels, from beginner setups to advanced SPS-dominated tanks, and everything in between.
Throughout that time, I’ve developed a strong understanding of coral husbandry, reef chemistry, lighting, flow dynamics, nutrient balance, and long-term system stability. This knowledge doesn’t come from theory alone — it comes from real-world experience, trial and error, and years of maintaining thriving marine ecosystems.
I’m also the writer behind our educational blogs at Aquamarine Aquaristic, where I share insights, guides, and honest perspectives from the hobby. My goal is to help reef keepers make better decisions, avoid common mistakes, and build healthier, more stable aquariums.
